Jessica Brady, LPC-MHSP
Individual and Couples Therapy
Tennessee and Kentucky
“Therapy is a safe space to spill the tea. No matter how supportive our friends, family, and partners are we all hit a wall with sharing-we convince ourselves that we have overshared or over burdened them so we end up holding our thoughts, feelings, worries, shame, and pain inside. That is where therapy can help. Therapy provides a place to talk without judgement or fear. I am hear to listen and to walk with you through the pain and healing.
In my sessions I utilize a lot of cognitive behavioral skills. We will focus on how our thoughts create our feelings and then feelings drive our behaviors. It can be so powerful when we learn to identify and reframe our negative thinking patterns in efforts to gain control over our emotions.”

“I see therapy as a collaborative process where I seek to understand you, your needs and your goals while offering new perspectives and teaching you new skills.
I want to help you understand yourself more and to find healing in relationships with others and with yourself.
I am the Director of Clinical Therapy at Swell Health and am passionate about helping people find their purpose, believe in their inherent value, and cultivate happiness.”
“I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment that allows clients to explore and understand their emotions, beliefs and past experiences.
As a result, I empower my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves to develop greater self-awareness to increase their self-confidence, better decision-making and improve their lives and relationships.”

Associate Therapists
In order to practice as an LMFT in Tennessee, therapists must graduate with a masters degree in a clinical program, then complete 1000 hours of clinical practice (200 of which are supervised by a senior therapist).
MFT's are temporarily licensed therapists who have graduated, and are finishing up their supervision hours in order to apply for their permanent unsupervised license. They’re considered trainees, or therapist interns/residents until they receive their unsupervised license.
When you see an associate therapist at Swell, you’ll have the support of that therapist along with the support of their clinical supervisor, Kelly Sevin Wilson.
“I see therapy as a collaborative and compassionate space where healing unfolds at your own pace. Life can be challenging, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment for each client to share their stories, process their experiences, and grow in a way that feels true to them. It would be an honor to walk alongside you through the ups and downs life throws your way.”

“I am a veteran and retired police officer with over two decades of helping people through various traumas and crisis.
I see therapy as a place where anything can be brought out and talked about, it is a safe place where no topic is off limits. No matter what problem you are facing, I am willing to come along side of you and help you navigate through the hurts and hangups to get to a place where you have the skills and abilities to better navigate life.”
